The Konjac potato, a perennial plant native to Asia, is a the source of plant fibre used to make the popular Konjac Sponge. This plant has been used in Korea, Japan and China for over 1500 years as a beauty aid, food and medicine.
Konjac sponges are mineral rich, pH neutral and great to gently exfoliate the delicate skin of the face.
White Konjac - The pure original. Sensitive / all skin types
Red Konjac - Infused with red clay. Regenerative, anti-aging
Black Konjac - Infused with activated charcoal. Oily or acne prone skin
100% natural, sustainable and biodegradable
Soak the Konjac sponge in water until it has softened. Massage the face using circular motions. Rinse and squeeze out excess water (don't wring) and then hang it to allow the sponge to air dry. Sponges can be boiled occasionally to sterilize.
Konjac sponges can be used with or without additional products such as facial soaps, oils or gel cleansers.
Each sponge lasts 2-3 months.
